“Can you remember who you were before the world told you who you should be?”
— Danielle LaPorte
Ok folks….I am doing things a bit different this week. I’ve been guided to give messages using playing cards. To divine using playing cards is called Cartomancy. As for the keyword for this week I’ve also been guided by using another form of divination called bibliomancy. Off to the beach today and I’m ready for some sun, surf & waves. Have a wonderful day friends!
Your keyword for this week is Lantern.
Lantern, it used to bring light into the darkness. What is in the dark cannot remain hidden any longer. This week your angels and guides are asking you to bring out the light. It is time to show the world this light. You can’t stay hidden forever in a dark corner. Use the lantern to bring in the light. Darkness can’t abide the light. Remember who you are, not what the world thinks you should be. You are a loving being of the light. Let the lantern be your guide for this week.

Monday-Wednesday~ Ace of Diamonds/ Seven of Hearts
Money, Money, Money! This fun card represents a financial windfall for those who use it to their advantage. If you want something in your favor, the Ace of Diamonds will help you realize your dreams, no matter how far out they seem.
7 0f hearts reunites you with people from your past. It is an romantic card, but this card in particular always concerns someone you’ve known for some time. Perhaps an old flame? It could also be an individual whom you could never get together with and now the cards are in your favor. It is a beautiful card that reunites old loves.
( Dream definition is included)
Feeling a little burdened with responsibility right now? Take a deep breath and plod on – it will resolve fairly quickly and don’t be afraid to ask for help.
If Gorilla has come across your path;
It is a signal for us to raise our heads and recognize the nobility within us. This is not prideful or boastful behavior. Rather, this great Ape exudes a quiet honor and a still dignity that makes a much more profound statement than any boast. We humans (particularly this day and age) would do well to mimic such regal behavior.
This animal also gives us a message of leadership but not of the aggressive kind. Rather, this ape manages other members within the troop with temperance, understanding, compassion and balance. Very seldom is aggression or violence required in order to get the point across. The Simian reminds us that tyrannical leaders will never win respect. The message here is that decency, honesty, and quiet charisma win loyal followers.
Alternatively, it could be a confirmation that your endeavors are solid and steady. You are reminded to stay grounded and handle your responsibilities. This animal totem will help you find your inner strength.
If Gorilla is your Animal Totem;
You are a leader and easily command groups of people through strength of will, decisiveness, and mediation of conflict. With this leadership you understand responsibility. You always take full protective responsibility of those within your command. You fully understand that a good leader is a leader who serves the needs of the followers. You also lead by example and with integrity.
With this Great Ape as your animal totem, you have the power to marshal the strength of community to your cause. There is nothing you cannot accomplish.
If Gorilla has come into your dreams;
1. To see one of these apes in your dream suggests that you may be too “over the top” in your behavior. Perhaps you are compensating for your rigidity and stiffness in your waking life. Alternatively, the gorilla symbolizes your primitive impulses, wild nature, and repressed sexual energy. If this animal is hiding it indicates that you are looking for a sense of security or protection with regards to your sexuality.
It could also mean that this animal represents the need to take action. When we dream of the Gorilla it is a signal that we’ve been resting on our laurels, and it’s time to start earning that which we want instead of waiting for rewards to fall into our laps
2. Dreaming of this gentle, kindhearted animal almost always signifies a new friendship, or the reaffirming of an old friendship.
3. Even if the gorilla appears to be on the rampage, this is still a positive symbol.
4. A gorilla that is angry or upset merely indicates minor misunderstandings with a friend.
Wednesday-Friday~Nine of Diamonds/ Five of Clubs
With this 9 of Diamonds, you are looking at an expansion in your earthly goods. This 9 also appears when you are near completion of a project. Sometimes it can appear when everything has been going good for awhile and you expect it to continue to be so. This card is saying that perhaps you should take another look at your circumstances and either forge ahead or take advantage of everything that is surrounding you.
Now the 5 is signifying that your hard work is starting to pay off. You are starting to reap some of the benefits of all that you have accomplished- although you are far from done. You still have some work to do, but the
best is yet to come.
Just for Fun~ All is well
During August’s blazing heat, it’s easy to feel like summer will last forever. We don’t notice the days growing shorter, the nights getting cooler, and the winds blowing stronger. Change is subtle and may register first in our spirit as an irksome feeling of dis-ease. While the sun shines bright and warm, acknowledge this “cooling” feeling. Embrace change. Wrap wellness and warmth around you, and prepare for what is to come. Envision yourself wrapped in a bright blanket of sunlight. Draw this warm cloak close, and walk confidently into the future. Chant:
“All is well, I’m safe and secure.
All is well, I’m healthy and nurtured.
All is well, I’m guided and protected.
All is well, I’m loved and accepted.
All is well, as seasons change, I now adapt and rearrange.
All is well, in this world, I belong.
I am resilient and safe, I am warm and I am strong.”
Friday/Weekend~Nine of Hearts/ Ace of Clubs
9 0f hearts signifies an intelligent fling. This is the thinker’s romantic card. Why? Because it attracts people who fall in love with intelligent types. If you find that bookstores, libraries, and magazine stands are where you enjoy spending time, you certainly can meet some literary types here. This is ” the heart meets the mind” card.
Ace of Clubs is signifying that there is a major transformation happening at this time. This particular ace is the most intense out of all clubs. This transformation is usually a goal that you are pursuing. It also shows up when a change of occupation takes place. The Ace of Clubs is all about self -realization. This card is here to get yourself moving with what you need to do.
This combo can also mean that you may have a relationship with someone who has some link to your occupation.
These messages have been brought to you courtesy of your average deck of playing cards.
